Honolulu Police investigating body found in Manoa storm drain

Honolulu police are investigating after a body was found in a storm drain in Manoa on Tuesday morning.

Police said a passerby called 911 at about 7:30 a.m. to report seeing a body in the drain near the intersection of East Manoa Road and Waiomao Road.

Police and fire crews responded to the scene and found the body of a man in the drain.

The man’s identity has not been released, and police are investigating the circumstances of his death.
